Begining in early spring and running through
late fall ever year is the prime season for outdoor
burning. In the recent past Beverly Hills did
not allow any outside burning unless it was directly
associated with food preperation. In 2006 Beverly
Hills adopted into village ordinance (27.01 )
the international fire code which allows for restricted
outdoor burning.
The following is a synopsis of the current rules
for outdoor recreational burning in Beverly Hills.
Any outdoor fire in Beverly Hills must:
1. Be at least 25 feet from a structure or combustible
material.
2. Be for pleasure, ceremonial, cooking, warmth,

masonry (fire pit, chiminea, burn barrel, etc).
